Rachela Buonincontri, BA, MC:AT, CCC
Rachela Buonincontri has earned a Master’s degree in counselling from the Campus Alberta Applied Psychology program and has professional training in art therapy through the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute. She is a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and a professional art therapist and member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA). She is also the Alberta representative for the Creative Arts Chapter of the CCPA, and a member of the Prairie Chapter of CATA.
Rachela is dedicated to helping individuals in the commitment towards health and wellness and focuses on issues such as: depression, anxiety, self-esteem, stress, anger, cancer and health concerns, grief/loss, positive self-growth and development, spirituality, positive living, career counselling, and relationship concerns. Throughout her studies Rachela has been interested in diverse forms of healing and alternative approaches to self-growth and development in order to best assist her clients. Her practice is based on positive psychology, self-awareness, authentic expression, and spirituality. She is interested in helping people get in touch with their inner truth and the essence of who they truly are so that they may be able to live a more authentic, happy, and healthy life.
Rachela's interests include health and wellness, the mind-body connection in healing, mindfulness meditation, creative visualization, phototherapy, and expressive art therapies. She is committed to living a conscious and passionate life and is dedicated to assisting others to become empowered and to live their fullest potential.
